The production of sulfur hexafluoride at home and abroad generally adopts the process of direct synthesis of elemental sulfur and elemental fluorine. In the synthetic crude SF6, it generally contains about 5% of the total amount of S2F2, S2F10, SOF2, SO2F2, SO2, HF, CF4, O2, N2 and other 10 kinds of impurities, and the purity after purification can reach more than 99.9%, However, the new high-purity sulfur hexafluoride gas may still cause quality problems due to factors such as purification process and filling. Therefore, the new SF6 gas must be checked and accepted, and then check whether the purchased products and quality are consistent with the factory report and purchase contract.
Each batch of high-purity sulfur hexafluoride shipped from the factory should be accompanied by a quality certificate in a fixed format, the main content of which should include the name of the manufacturer, product name, production batch number, cylinder number, gas net weight, production date and applicable standard number. The user should first obtain and check the factory report of the product from the manufacturer.
High-purity sulfur hexafluoride gas cylinders should be sprayed with paint, indicating the name of the manufacturer, product name, batch number, cylinder number and product trademark. The paint color and words of the gas cylinder should conform to the GB 7144-1999 gas cylinder color mark. The label should meet the requirements specified in GB 16804-1997.
The user should check and accept the industrial SF6 received in accordance with the standard, and the acceptance should be carried out within months from the date of arrival of the goods. Users should sample new high-purity sulfur hexafluoride gas cylinders according to the standard and send them to a unit with the ability to supervise and test for quality sampling inspection.
If one of the indicators in the results of the inspection of Shuncheng’s sulfur hexafluoride does not meet the requirements of GB/T 12022, a sample of twice the amount of packaging should be re-inspected. Even if only one of the indicators does not meet the standard requirements in the re-inspection result, the entire batch of products is unqualified.
